14-17A Type of Crime: Arson

Up to: $500.00 For information regarding the arson that occurred on July 3, 2014 at approximately 1:50 AM near the intersection of Highway 299 and trinity Mountain Road, Shasta, CA. A small fire was reported by a motorist on July 3, 2014 at about 1:50 AM. The wild land fire was next to the old blacksmith-carriage house on Trinity Mountain Road near the intersection with Highway 299. The historic blacksmith-carriage house was destroyed by the fire. The fire was an act of arson.

14-16A Type of Crime: Discharging a Fire Arm at an Inhabited Dwelling

Up to: $2,500.00 For information regarding the discharging of a fire arm at an inhabited dwelling that occurred on June 30, 2014 at approximately 12:10 AM. Redding Police Officers responded to numerous reports of indiscriminate shooting in the 2400 block of Oxford Road, Redding, CA. One of the callers reported that his residence had been struck by bullets. Officers located four bullet strikes on the side of the house adjacent to a bedroom. There is no known motive for this incident.

14-15A Type of Crime: Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Up to: $5,000.00 For information regarding the assault with a deadly weapon that occurred on July 9, 2014 at approximately 12:48 AM. Redding Police Officers responded to the 3600 block of Scorpius Way regarding a reported stabbing. The initial investigation revealed the victim, David Hisawa, 60 years of Redding, was in his wheelchair, and was walking his dog near the east end of Alta Mesa Park when he was approached by four suspects. One of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded Hisawa’s wallet, however Hisawa did not have his wallet in his possession at the time. The suspect then stabbed Hisawa in the shoulder and punched him several times as he attempted to get away in his wheelchair.
The suspect involved in the stabbing and attempted robbery is described as a dark complected male, possibly in his 20’s, approximately 6’0” tall with a muscular build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and no shirt. The other suspects are described as being white males in their 20’s, each wearing blue jeans and white shirts. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

14-14A Type of Crime: Attempted Murder

Up to: $5,000.00 For information regarding the attempted murder that occurred on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at approximately 10:16 PM. Officers from the Redding Police Department responded to 2140 C Street, Redding, CA for a report of a stabbing. On arrival, Officers contacted the victim, Keri Christensen, 48 years of Redding. She reported that while she was walking her dog near her residence an unknown male subject approached her from behind and stabbed her in her upper chest area with a knife, which was recovered at the scene. Immediately after stabbing Christensen, the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction. An extensive area check was conducted by law enforcement; however the suspect was not located.
The suspect is described as either a white or Hispanic male, 5’8” – 5’10” tall with average build and short dark hair. The suspect was possibly wearing a light colored tank top and shorts.

14-13A Type of Crime: Assault with a Firearm

Up to: $5,000.00 For information regarding the assault with a firearm that occurred on 6/10/2014 at approximately 1:03 AM at the intersection of Churn Creek Rd./E. Cypress Ave., Redding, CA. Redding Police Officers responded to a shooting which had just occurred at the location. Further investigation revealed four victims had been traveling in a grey Honda Accord sedan in the area of Churn Creek Rd. and E. Cypress Ave. As the Honda was traveling southbound on Churn Creek Rd. making a right turn to travel westbound on E. Cypress Ave., a pedestrian standing at the northwest corner of the intersection fired several shots from a handgun at the vehicle. One of the bullets struck the rear of the Honda and subsequently struck one of the victims in the back as she was seated in the rear seat of the vehicle.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing black cargo shorts, a dark grey shirt, and a black ball cap worn backwards. He is further described as having a large build and blonde hair. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Type of Crime: Armed Robbery

Up to: $2,500.00 For information regarding the armed robbery that occurred on 6/1/2014 at approximately 9:18 PM at the location of Walmart, 1515 Dana Drive, Redding, CA. Redding Police Officers responded to the Redding Walmart for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers determined that while the suspect was completing a transaction with a store clerk in the Garden Center area, the suspect displayed a semi-auto handgun to the clerk. The clerk subsequently fled the area on foot, at which time the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and fled the location on foot.
The suspect is described as being a white male adult, approximately 40 years old. He is approximately 5’10” tall, weighing approximately 230 lbs., and has a moustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a tan hat, light grey t-shirt, white socks and black shoes.

14-10A Type of Crime:  Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Up to: $2,500.00 For information regarding the assault that occurred on 5/19/2014 at approximately 11:49 PM at the location of the Baymont Inn, 2600 Larkspur Ln., Redding, CA. A man and a woman, who were guests staying at the Baymont Inn, were entering a west door at the hotel when they were approached by a white male adult who appeared agitated. The suspect produced a black pistol and ordered both victims outside the hotel. Once outside, he looked through their bags, but did not take any property. The suspect fled on foot in an undetermined direction of travel. While officers were investigating the first incident, there was a second report of a subject brandishing a pistol in the area of Hilltop Drive and Cypress Avenue. Officer conducted an extensive area check, however could not locate the suspect (it is not known at this time if the two incidents were related).
The suspect is described as being in his 20’s and wearing a black jacket or long sleeved shirt with the word “purgatory” (or similar) on the back. The suspect is further described as being approximately 5’10”, 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Type of Crime: Incendiary Act

Up to: $5,000.00 For information regarding: The identities of Person(s) responsible for the arson fire that occurred at Water Works Park, 151 North Boulder Dr, Redding, CA at 1:30 AM on 01-28-2014. The incident has resulted in an estimated $500,000 of damage to the “Dragon” water slide and is the second arson related incident within the park.

Type of Crime: Burglary

Up to: $1,500.00 For information regarding: On October 3, 2013, between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM at 20929 Lakeshore Drive, Lakehead, CA, unknown suspect(s) burglarized the victims Superior Boat and RV Storage unit. Multiple firearms were stolen when unknown suspect(s) broke into the victims unit by crawling over an interior wall from another storage unit.

14-01A Type of Crime: Armed Robbery

Up to: $2,000.00 For information regarding: On 1/4/2014, at approximately 5:30 PM a male entered the Metro PCS store on 4480 Westside Road, Redding, CA and immediately demanded that the employee give him all the money in the store. The suspect then walked around the counter and removed a black revolver from his clothing and pointed it directly at the clerk, again ordering her to give him the money. After obtaining the cash, the suspect fled the store in an unknown direction. The suspect is described only as a white male, 5’8” with a heavy build and wearing a tan canvas coat and a ski mask.

13-40A Type of Crime: Attempted Robbery

Up to: $2,000.00 For information regarding: On 10/28/2013, at approximately 2:37 AM in the south parking lot of Marriott Suites on Larkspur Lane. As the victim was exiting her vehicle, she was confronted by two black males one of whom demanded “give me your purse”. The victim told the suspect she didn’t have anything valuable in her purse and immediately after making this statement was grabbed by the second suspect by the back of her hair. As the victim tried to retain her purse and fend off the attacker grabbing her hair, she was punched in the face by the other suspect. After striking the victim, both suspects ran off without the purse in an unknown direction. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, approx 25 yrs old, slender to average build, approx 5”9” tall, wearing a green zip up jacket, with a white collar and a white stripe on each arm, a dark knit hat and black baggy pants. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, approx 25 yrs old, slender to average build, 5’9” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black shoes and a black knit beanie cap.

13-37A Type of Crime: Burglary

Up to: $1,000.00 For information regarding: On or about October 4, 2013, at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, at the Whiskeytown Fire Use Module Office and Station at Whiskeytown Lake $50,000.00 in property was taken. Several thousand dollars of chainsaws, tools and firefighting equipment was taken in addition to a marked Fire pickup truck. The truck has been recovered.

13-36A Type of Crime: Murder

Up to: $10,000.00 For information regarding: On Saturday, 11/2/2013, at 7:30 PM Bradley Weber Sr. was involved in an argument with his son Bradley Weber Jr. (B.J.) at 6323 Marsha Farms Rd. Weber Jr’s girlfriend Misty Darden left on foot to avoid the argument and a few minutes later witnessed Weber Jr, ride past her on an ATV stating “He shot me.” Weber Jr. was transported to Mercy Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased from a single gunshot wound. Weber Sr. may be traveling with Pamela Lynn Glasgow. A $1,000,000 arrest warrant has been issued for Bradley James Andrew Weber Sr.

Type of Crime: Burglary

Up to: $2,500.00 For information regarding:  On November 1, 2013, in the early morning hours of 3:00AM to 4:30 AM two subjects burglarized the California Department of Fish & Wildlife facility at 601 Locust Street, Redding, CA.  The subjects took five firearms and a dark blue 2001 Dodge Durango SUV.  A complete inventory list of missing items is pending.

Type of Crime: Vehicle Theft

Up to $2,000.00 For information regarding: On July 25, 2013, the theft of a large, trailer mounted commercial generator was discovered. The theft occurred at the Coleman Fish Hatchery, 24411 Coleman Fish Hatchery Rd., Anderson, CA. The generator belongs to I-5 Rentals of Redding, CA. Follow up information indicates that the generator was seen being towed north of Parkville Road and Millville Plains Road on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. The generator is mounted on a two axle flat trailer. The generator is housed in a sheet metal box which is painted white and black. At the time of the theft, the equipment was marked “I-5 Rentals”. The generator is valued at $70,000.

13-25A Type of Crime: Attempted Murder of a Police Officer

 Up to $2,500.00 For information regarding: On 7/24/2013 at 11:56 PM at Girvan & Hemlock streets in Redding, CA an Officer of the Redding Police Department conducted a traffic stop of a car for vehicle code violations. The passenger, James Arthur Staggs, 35 years of age, ran from the car and was chased. Staggs fired at the officer and continued to flee. Staggs was able to elude capture. Staggs was positively identified as the person who shot at the police officer. Staggs is on parole for prior charges and is considered a serious threat to the community. Staggs is considered armed and dangerous.

13-23A Type of Crime: Civil Rights Violation/ Property Damage  

Up to $1,000.00 For information  regarding: On 7/16/2013 at 10:45 PM at Bush Street in Keswick, CA, unknown suspect(s) cut the gas line to a 500 gallon propane tank.  The propane leak caused the area to be evacuated.  The victim’s vehicle was also vandalized and homosexual slurs were scratched into the paint.  The victim’s were targeted because of their sexual orientation.

Up to $5,000.00 For information regarding: On July 7, 1976, 15 year old Terri Lynn Ray was discovered murdered in Clear Creek near Highway 273. Investigators have reopened the case due to the advances in technology since the murder.

13-19A Type of Crime: Home Invasion Robbery

Up to $500.00 For information regarding: On 7/4/2013 in the early morning hours, two male and a female suspects committed a home invasion robbery at a residence in Redding. The female suspect was identified and subsequently arrested the following morning. One of the male suspects was identified as Kolby Lee McElmurry, age 20, and is currently at large. The third suspect is yet to be identified. The Redding Police department is requesting assistance in locating McElmurry and identifying the 3rd suspect.

Up to $2,500.00 For information leading to the arrest and or conviction of person(s) that on 11/24/2012, in the afternoon hours, burglarized the residence of a 73 year old victim. The victim left his residence on Rector Creek Road in Ono for a short time. While he was gone, unknown suspect(s) entered his residence and stole a safe containing cash in excess of $100,000.00.

Up to $8,700.00 For information leading to the where about’s of Cort Jones-Botta who was last seen on the 700 block of Joaquin, Redding on 08/16/2012 around 3pm where he phoned his mother for a ride home. When his mother arrived, Cort Jones-Botta was nowhere to be found. He has not been seen or heard from since that date.

Type of Crime: Attempted Murder

UP TO $3,000.00 For information leading to the arrest and or conviction of the suspect(s) that: On 11/20/2012 at 10:44 PM the suspect attempted murder by stabbing Andrew Whitley in the neck. The suspect was wearing a dark colored hoodie. He fled the scene on foot. The crime occurred in front of the Rite-Aid on Cascade Blvd., in Shasta Lake City.

Up to $2,000.00 For information leading to the arrest and or conviction of the suspect(s) that: Sometime late August 2012, Broke into a garage and house off Evergreen Road in Cottonwood They took jewelry, guns, 2 TV’s. silver, power tools, safe and other  miscellaneous items. A black Buick was taken from the garage. The car was found abandoned. One shotgun was from Czechoslovakia Creek Rd.

12-28A Type of Crime: Missing Person

Up to $5,000.00 For information leading to the whereabouts’ of Heather Cameron. On 08-18-12 at 2:30 AM, Heather called 911 and requested law enforcement and medical assistance. Cameron was on foot in the Chappie-Shasta OHV area. Cameron claimed she was drugged and needed help. An extensive search was conducted for Cameron and she was not located. Cameron has not been seen or heard from since 8-18-12 and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are suspicious.

12-22A Type of Crime: Attempted Murder

For information leading to the arrest and or conviction of: At 7:41 PM on 09-04-2012 at Snoopy Rock, State Hwy 299, Ingot, CA two victims, on vacation, had pulled off Hwy 299 for the male half to use the restroom. Victim was confronted by a suspect riding a Harley Davidson-type motorcycle. The victim saw the suspect with a handgun and a struggle ensued. During this struggle, the victim was shot in his chest. The suspect then left on his motorcycle. Suspect described as; white male adult, 5’8” to 5”9” tall, thin build, blonde hair and wearing a black t-shirt. Suspect was not wearing a helmet. Only the male victim was shot and he was treated at local hospital for his wounds.

Up to $500.00 For information leading to the arrest and or conviction of unknown suspect that robbed Ferry's Pharmacy located at 2940 East Street in Anderson. On July 13, 2012,  the suspect entered the business with a bandana on his face and holding a handgun. Suspect took cash, Oxycodin and Methadone.

12-09A Type of Crime: Suspicious Death


Up to $5,000.00 For information leading to the arrest and or conviction of the subjects who may have been responsible for the death of Cody Templeton. On Sunday 05/27/2012 at 1:17 AM at Keswick Dam Road, east of Iron Mountain Road in Redding, CHP and SCSO responded to a subject lying in the roadway on Keswick Dam Road. The subject (later identified as Cody Templeton) was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding Templeton's death are suspicious.

10-21A Type of Crime: Felony Hit & Run

Up to $10,000.00 For information leading to the arrest of the person(s) that struck Jon W. Muncy, 53 as he was riding his bicycle southbound on Riverland Drive near Riverland Mobile Home Park. Muncy was struck from the rear. The unknown vehicle fled the scene apparently without stopping. Muncy was critically injured and later died from his injuries. The crime occurred 11-22-2010 at 6:30 PM.

Up to $10,000.00 Is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual's responsible for the homicide of Christina Stevens on or about November 9, 2007.  Ms. Stevens’ body was discovered in a burned house located at 13345 Old Oregon Trail, Redding by  fire personnel.  The house fire appeared to have been set in an effort to cover up the homicide.
