08-05A Up to $300. For information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved in the vehicle burglaries and thefts from garages in the Saratoga and Alta Mesa area in east Redding over the past 2 months. RPD  06/12/08
08-04A Up to $3,000. For information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) involved in the June 5 2008, 9:40 am attempted strong-armed robbery. At the Bank of America, 1661 East Street, Redding. Officers responded to the parking lot of the Bank of America on a report of a robbery that had occurred to a bank customer. The victim Mr. Robert Plumb, 83 years old, of Trinity Center was leaving the bank after making a withdrawal. Mr. Plumb reported an unidentified male suspect knocked him to the ground and attempted to forcibly take cash from him. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the scene in vehicle driven by another unidentified male. Mr. Plumb received minor injuries during the struggle. RPD  06/06/08
08-03A Up to $1,000 For information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two unknown armed suspects that entered the Bechelli Market at 3408 Bechelli Ln., Redding. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash. Robbery took place on 5/24/2008 at approximately 9-9:30 pm. RPD  06/02/08
08-02A Up to $2,500. For information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) that stabbed the victim in front of the business, AM-PM 4095 Railroad Ave., approximately 11:00 pm for no apparent reason.   Crime occurred 05/03/08.  RPD  05/05/08

Up to $1,000. Is being offered for information leading to the arrest of individual(s) who burglarized and vandalized the Superior Thrift Store at 3492 S. Market St. on 02/02 – 02/03/2008.     RPD          

07-22A Up to $1,500. Is being offered for information leading to the arrest and recovery of stolen property taken during a burglary at 1315 Magnolia Ave., Redding.  11/20 – 11/25/2007    RPD
07-19A Up to $10,000. Is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the homicide of Christina Stevens on or about November 9, 2007.  Ms. Stevens’ body was discovered in a burned house located at 13345 Old Oregon Trail, Redding by  fire personnel.  The house fire appeared to have been set in an effort to cover up the homicide.      SCSO
07-18A Up to $1,000. For information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) who burglarized the Moose Lodge, 320 lake Blvd, Redding, on November 4, 2007. The suspects entered the lodge after close of business and destroyed a large amount of property and stole and undisclosed amount of money. RPD
07-17A Up to $1,000. Is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the two armed individuals who entered and attempted to rob a home located at 5305 Akrich St, City of Shasta Lake on October 13, 2007 at 6:44 am. The homeowner woke up and interrupted the two suspects, who then fled the scene. SCSO
07-16A Up to $1,000. For information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) who poisoned Romeo, a very valuable breeding boar at the Shasta College Agriculture Dept. located on the east side of the campus in the Ag area. Romeo was discovered dead on the morning of Sept 14, 2007. The veterinarian who performed the necropsy on Romeo said he was given rat poison sometime on Sept. 13, 2007. Romeo was 4 years old.
NOTE: The students in the agriculture program raised the money for the reward. SCSO-Animal Regulation -Humane Society.
 
07-14A Up to $2,500. For information leading to the arrest of the person who robbed the US Bank. 1110 Dana Dr., Redding on August 24, 2007 at 3:08 pm. The suspect is an adult, black male, 4’11” to 5’2” tall, 135 to 150 lbs, short black hair, large bulging brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white and blue sleeved t-shirt and blue jeans. The suspect entered the bank and presented the teller with a demand note that indicated he was armed but no weapon was seen. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. RPD
07-13A Up to $10,000. For information in regards to a deceased male that was found in a trailer. The incident occurred on August 15, 2007 at approx. 4:00 am at 11546 Bluff Rd., Bella vista. SCSO
07-10A Up to $2,000. Is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the armed robbery of the Midway Market at 7200 Hwy 273, Redding on May 8, 2007 at approx 9:00pm. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark ski mask, a white hooded sweatshirt and black or dark blue basketball style shorts with a light blue and white strip down the side. The suspect was also wearing gloves. SCSO
07-05A/P Up to $28,351.00 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual (s) responsible for the fatal shooting of Jon Ford at his home on Mountain School rd., Round Mountain on Monday morning March 12, 2007 SCSO
06-10A Up to $2,000. For information leading to the arrest of the individual driving the unknown vehicle on June 23, 2006 at approx. 9:30 pm traveling east on SR-44 when it swerved across the gore point onto the south bound 1-5 transition road striking and killing a pedestrian who was walking east on SR-44. The suspect vehicle stopped momentarily before fleeing the scene south bound on I-5. CHP
05-18A Up to $3,000. Is offered for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the no-contact hit and run that resulted in a fatal collision on Highway 299E on August 12, 2005. A “light colored small compact vehicle” was eastbound when the driver crossed over the solid yellow centerline and began to pass another eastbound vehicle. The driver of an oncoming westbound vehicle swerved to avoid a head-on collision, lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. The driver of the westbound vehicle suffered major injuries and his passenger died at the scene. CHP
05-17A Up to $500. Is being offered by Secret Witness of Shasta Co. for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for vandalizing a Cal Trans Permanent Digital LED Radar Sign on Hwy 44 between August 12 and August 15, 2005. CHP
98-01A/P Up to $20,000. Is offered for information leading to the location of Tera Smith who disappeared Saturday, August 22, 1998. SCSO

Is offered for information about the following murders:

Terry Arndt in Burney on December 14, 1984.

Judith Hasselstrom at Caldwell Park, Redding, August 7, 1988.

Despina Magioudis, 53, found off East Cypress Ave. in Redding , August 7, 1988.

Frank W. McAlister: his car was found in a parking lot on Dana Dr. Mary 7, 1993. His body was found in the Shingletown area on April 13, 1994.

 

 

 

STANDING REWARDS:

Up to $250.     Is offered for information about on going auto burglaries in the Redding area.
Up to $500.     The Shasta Co Sheriff’s Dept, Shasta Interagency narcotics Task force and Bureau of Narcotics enforcement are prepared to give rewards on a case-to-case basis for information about marijuana cultivation, illegal drug labs and all narcotics sales.
Up to $5,000. From various fire agencies for information about people responsible for arson fires burning or threatening commercial federal or state timberlands in Plumas, Lassen, Tehama, Modoc, Shasta, and Siskiyou counties.
Up to $500.     For information about illegal digging at archaeological sites and removal of artifacts from sites on national forest lands.
Up to $500.     For information about vandalism to Bureau of Land Management property.
Up to $1,000.  By State Dept of Fish & Game for information about those who violate fish and wildlife laws.
Up to $500.     By the Cattleman’s Association for information about killing, theft and vandalism to property belonging to their members.
Up to $500.     For information about vandalism to public property in the Burney area.
Up to $1,000. Is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individual/s involved in Graffiti within the City of Redding.
