09-08A Type of Crime:  Vandalism

Up to $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for  Vandalizing the buses at Happy Valley Elementary School, 17480 Palm Ave. Anderson sometime between 5/22/09 and 05/26/09.  SCSO  06/04/09

09-07A Type of Crime:  Kidnapping/Attempted Rape

Up to $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for this crime.  It occurred in the area of Cypress Avenue and Lowden Lane on 5/14/2009 approximately 11:30pm.  The suspect vehicle is described as a black Cadillac Escalade or similar SUV.  The first suspect is described as a white male adult, brown hair (crew cut style), approximate age 30 years.  The second suspect is described as a white female adult, brown hair, wearing a blue dress, approximately 30 years of age.  RPD 05/26/09

09-06A Up to $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the crime that occurred on Twin View Blvd. near the I-5 overpass on 4/23/09 at approximately 7:30pm. Three to four Hispanic male adults assaulted the juvenile victim causing serious bodily injury. The suspects were described as being in their early to late twenties and all had numerous tattoos.

09-03A Up to $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who robbed the Palo Cedro Pharmacy with a handgun.  Crime occurred 2/5/09 at approximately 6pm. The suspect was described as a white male, 5’11” to 6’ tall, with a slender build, wearing a green fatigue hooded jacket and blue pants.   SCSO  02/08/09
09-02A

Up to $2,500.00for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) who set the playground structure on fire at the Bella Vista School.  The structure was destroyed.  Damage is estimated at $50,000.  The crime occurred June 11, 2008 at approximately 7:00 pm.  Cal Fire 02-02-09

08-32A

Up to $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect that robbed the Time To Stop Mini Mart at 5425 Mountain View Dr., Redding.  Suspect entered the business brandishing a handgun, demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled out the front doors.  Suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.  Suspect’s face was partially covered with a bandana or similar type cloth.  Suspect was possibly seen leaving the scene in a tan colored van.  Crime occurred 12/28/2008 at 4:03pm. RPD 12/31/08

08-31A

Up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) that burglarized and vandalized  a series of Redding commercial businesses between the dates of 11/15/2008 and 12/16/2008 during the late evening/early morning hours. RPD 12/31/08

08-29A

Up to $250.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) that took newspaper boxes during the month of November.  Four separate thefts of newspaper boxes have been reported in Shasta County and incorporated cities.  They remove the entire newspaper unit from in front of businesses and gaining access to the money later at a remote location.   SCSO 12/31/08

08-27A

Up to $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect  that tried to burglarize Ace Hardware, Hwy 273, Anderson. Suspect shattered the glass near front door of business but didn’t enter but flees on foot.  Suspect was wearing jacket, gloves, hood, and face covering.  Burglary was committed November 11. 2008, 11pm. APD 12/31/08

08-26A

Up to $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) that entered  Players Pizza and Sports at Balls Ferry Rd., Anderson. Suspect entered by breaking the glass front door and attempted to pry open one cash register and was unsuccessful.  Suspect fled the scene with a second cash register.  Burglary was committed November 4. 2008 sometime during the night. APD 12/31/08

Up to $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect that entered The Lunch Box Deli, Industrial Way, Anderson.  Suspect flees the business with the cash register.  Burglary was committed October 27. 2008 at 1:38am.  APD 12/31/08

08-24A

Up to $500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect that entered Mary’s Pizza Shack, Anderson Outlets. Opened cash registers for money.  Finding no money, suspect exits the business.  Red Ford Ranger type pickup truck is possibly involved as it was seen leaving the area shortly after the burglary. Crime was committed December 13th. 2008 at 5:33pm.  APD 12/31/08

08-23A

Up to $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the masked suspects that robbed the Round Table Pizza on Eureka Way in Redding. One suspect was armed with a knife, the other suspect was armed with a hangun.   Crime was committed December 13th. 2008 at 11:05pm.  They fled after taking an undisclosed amount of cash.  RPD 12/25/08

08-22A Up to $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect that robbed the Valero Gas Station on Churn Creek Rd.   Suspect male, late 20s early 30s, approximately 5’10”, 160 pounds brandished a handgun demanding cash from the clerk.  Crime was committed December 17, 2008 approximately between 1:17 am. RPD 12/25/08
08-21A Up to $250.00 For information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) that vandalized parked cars near or at the West Valley High School. The crime was committed between October 20, 2008 and November 26, 2008.  SCSO 12/04/08

Up to $3,000.00 For information  leading to the arrest and conviction of burglarer's breaking into vacant homes in Shasta County. Crimes occurred at various times starting  in September 2008.  SCSO  10/20/2008

08-13A Up to $2,500.00 For information leading to the capture and arrest of unknown suspect(s) that burglarized the residential home at Hwy 44 in Millville, Shasta County.  Crime occurred sometime between 09-05-08 and 09-15-08.  Personal property including jewelry, generators, chain saw, Ducks Unlimited edition shotgun was taken.   SCSO  9/30/2008
08-11A Up to $500.00 For information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual's who burglarized a pharmacy. They broke into building by kicking in the door. Suspect(s) took several bottles of Vicodin tablets. Crime occurred 8/10/2008 at 3184 Churn Creek Rd., between 0300-0445 hours.   RPD- 8/10/08
08-03A Up to $1,000.00 For information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two unknown armed suspects that entered the Bechelli Market at 3408 Bechelli Ln., Redding. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash. Robbery took place on 5/24/2008 at approximately 9-9:30 pm.   RPD  06/02/08
07-19A Up to $10,000.00 Is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual's responsible for the homicide of Christina Stevens on or about November 9, 2007.  Ms. Stevens’ body was discovered in a burned house located at 13345 Old Oregon Trail, Redding by  fire personnel.  The house fire appeared to have been set in an effort to cover up the homicide.      SCSO
07-14A Up to $2,500.00 For information leading to the arrest of the person who robbed the US Bank. 1110 Dana Dr., Redding on August 24, 2007 at 3:08 pm. The suspect is an adult, black male, 4’11” to 5’2” tall, 135 to 150 lbs, short black hair, large bulging brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white and blue sleeved t-shirt and blue jeans. The suspect entered the bank and presented the teller with a demand note that indicated he was armed but no weapon was seen. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. RPD
07-13A Up to $10,000.00 For information for the homicide of Walter James who was found in a trailer. The incident occurred on August 15, 2007 at approx. 4:00 am at 11546 Bluff Rd., Bella vista. SCSO
07-05A/P Up to $28,351.00 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual (s) responsible for the fatal shooting of Jon Ford at his home on Mountain School rd., Round Mountain on Monday morning March 12, 2007 SCSO

  • Terry Arndt in Burney on December 14, 1984. 

  • Despina Magioudis, 53, found off East Cypress Ave. Redding, Aug 10, 1991. 

  • Frank W. McAlister: his car was found in a parking lot on Dana Dr. May 7, 1993.  His body was found in the Shingletown area on Apr 13, 1994. 

Up to $250.00     Is offered for information about ongoing auto burglaries in the Redding area.
Up to $250.00 Is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) that burglarized and vandalized the Shasta Forest Village Subdivision, Shingletown.  SCSO 2/31/08
Up to $500.00     The Shasta Co Sheriff’s Dept, Shasta Interagency narcotics Task force and Bureau of Narcotics enforcement are prepared to give rewards on a case-to-case basis for information about marijuana cultivation, illegal drug labs and all narcotics sales.
Up to $5,000.00 From various fire agencies for information about people responsible for arson fires burning or threatening commercial federal or state timberlands in Plumas, Lassen, Tehama, Modoc, Shasta, and Siskiyou counties.
Up to $500.00     For information about illegal digging at archaeological sites and removal of artifacts from sites on national forest lands.
Up to $500.00    For information about vandalism to Bureau of Land Management property.
Up to $1,000.00  By State Dept of Fish & Game for information about those who violate fish and wildlife laws.
Up to $500.00     By the Cattleman’s Association for information about killing, theft and vandalism to property belonging to their members.
Up to $500.00     For information about vandalism to public property in the Burney area.
Up to $1,000.00 Is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individual/s involved in Graffiti within the City of Redding.
