Up to $3,000.00 For information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) that set the fire, destroying the abandoned McMillan Hardware Store located at 3320 West Center St., Anderson, CA.  The crime occurred on June 18, 2010 at 4:48 PM.  You may contact Anderson Fire Protection District or Secret Witness with your information.

10-08A Type of Crime: Burglary

Up to $1,000.00 For information leading to the arrest and or conviction of person(s) burglarizing property in the Quail Ridge neighborhood.  This includes thefts from vehicles and burglaries to occupied residences during night-time hours when the residence are asleep.  In May crimes started and are being committed by teenagers who line in or travel thru the area.

10-07A Type of Crime: Vandalism

Up to $500.00 For information leading to the arrest or conviction of person(s) vandalizing property in  Anderson River Park, and Volante Park located on Emily Drive.  The vandalism includes graffiti, destruction of playground equipment, and causing damage to the other facilities.  This has been on going for several months.

Up to $1,500.00 For information leading to the arrest of person(s) that stole camera equipment from a garage during an unknown time frame. The equipment is extremely unique and valuable.

Up to $150.00 For information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) placing chemical bombs in the area of 3800 Alta Mesa Drive, Redding late evening to early morning of 3/27/2010 and 4/13/2010.

10-03A Type of Crime: Home Invasion

Up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of Vern Ward and Pauline Montgomery who forced entry into a residence in Burney, CA. and held the victim at knife point then demanded property. During the robbery a knife was held to the victim’s throat. The victim was assaulted and lost consciousness. Ward is considered armed and dangerous. Crime occurred on March 7, 2010 at 0100 hours.

Up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a male suspect that demanded and stole Oxycontin pills from the Shopko Pharmacy on Lake Blvd., on January 18 2010 at approximately 6:24pm.

Type of Crime: Kidnapping / Rape / Attempted Murder

Up to $5,000.00 $10,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Jose Felipe Mendoza for the crime of Kidnapping, Rape, and Spousal Assault. The crime occurred at 10:04am on October 31, 2009 at the 99 Cent Store parking lot at 2611 Hilltop Dr., Redding. Redding.   For further information, this suspect is listed on the Redding Police Department’s Most Wanted page.

On 11/30/09 suspect Jose Mendoza returned to his estranged wife’s residence in the afternoon and shot her boyfriend twice in the head.  He then fled the scene in a grey or blue compact car.  He may also be driving a red 4x4 Toyota extended cab pick-up.

09-21A/P Type of Crime: Vandalism/Hate Crime

Up to $667.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for causing damaged to private homes on Swasey Dr., Old Stage Coach Rd., and High St., in Old Shasta. The crimes have been on going between May to November of 2008 and February to August 2009.

Type of Crime:  Attempted Robbery

Up to $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and  conviction of the person(s) responsible for the attempted robbery at Redding Bank of Commerce, 1177 Placer St, Redding. On 9/8/09 at approximately 3:00 pm  two Domino’s Pizza employees went to the bank to drop off a deposit.  When they arrived they were confronted by a male subject with a knife.  He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a mask.  The suspect demanded the money but the pizza employees were able to secure the money and the suspect fled on foot.  The pizza employees noticed a second subject with the masked man.  He was described as male, wearing dark clothing.  RPD  09/11/09

Type of Crime: Arson

Up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and  conviction of the person(s) responsible for igniting a fire at 22310 Lone Tree Rd., Cottonwood. The fire completely burned a historic building which once was an old school house but since converted to a church.  The building was also used by the Future Farmers of America (FFA) to host meetings.  The historic value is unquestioned and a loss this community will never be regained.  Crime occurred on 7/13/09 approximately 2:26 am.  You can contact Battalion Chief Mike Birondo at 530-225-2420.   Cal-Fire 09/02/09

Type of Crime:  Kidnapping

Up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and  conviction of the person that tried to kidnap a 2 year old baby girl in a stroller between 7:30 and 8:30pm on 07/04/2009 at the Freedom Festival at Redding Convention Center.  The suspect abandoned the stroller with the baby still inside  by a row of porta-potties when all the commotion caused by witnesses, firemen, and police officers spread out to locate the 2 yr old.  Suspect fled on foot towards the sundial bridge.

Suspect is described as: white male adult in his 40s with brown and grey feathered hair, 6’ tall about 200 lbs, clean shave, and wearing yellow tank top, brown short, and black Velcro sandals.  RPD  07/11/09

09-03A Type of Crime:  Armed Robbery

Up to $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who robbed the Palo Cedro Pharmacy with a handgun.  Crime occurred 2/5/09 at approximately 6pm. The suspect was described as a white male, 5’11” to 6’ tall, with a slender build, wearing a green fatigue hooded jacket and blue pants.   SCSO  02/08/09

Type of Crime:  Armed Robbery

Up to $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect that robbed the Time To Stop Mini Mart at 5425 Mountain View Dr., Redding.  Suspect entered the business brandishing a handgun, demanded money from the clerk at gunpoint.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled out the front doors.  Suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.  Suspect’s face was partially covered with a bandana or similar type cloth.  Suspect was possibly seen leaving the scene in a tan colored van.  Crime occurred 12/28/2008 at 4:03pm. RPD 12/31/08

08-21A Type of Crime:  Vandalism

Up to $250.00 For information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) that vandalized parked cars near or at the West Valley High School. The crime was committed between October 20, 2008 and November 26, 2008.  SCSO 12/04/08

Type of Crime:  Burglary

Up to $3,000.00 For information  leading to the arrest and conviction of burglarer's breaking into vacant homes in Shasta County. Crimes occurred at various times starting  in September 2008.  SCSO  10/20/2008

07-19A Type of Crime:  Homicide

Up to $10,000.00 Is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual's responsible for the homicide of Christina Stevens on or about November 9, 2007.  Ms. Stevens’ body was discovered in a burned house located at 13345 Old Oregon Trail, Redding by  fire personnel.  The house fire appeared to have been set in an effort to cover up the homicide.      SCSO

Up to $10,000.00 For information for the homicide of Walter James who was found in a trailer. The incident occurred on August 15, 2007 at approx. 4:00 am at 11546 Bluff Rd., Bella vista. SCSO

Up to $28,351.00 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual (s) responsible for the fatal shooting of Jon Ford at his home on Mountain School rd., Round Mountain on Monday morning March 12, 2007 SCSO
